2x4's CAMPAIGN RAISES NEARLY $15,000
Habitat for Humanity Greater Peoria Area's 2x4's & More campaign
has raised nearly $15,000 to go toward buying 2,400 2x4's as well
as other materials needed to build 6 houses this year.
Donations of any amount are still welcome and can be sent to:

Contributors are encouraged to give $24.24, the cost of 10 2x4's,
but any amount is appreciated. The amount above the cost of the
2x4's will be used to buy doors, windows and sinks for the houses.
The IVC Key Club at Chillicothe IVC High School got the campaign
off to a great start with a donation of $1,600 from students who
raised money last fall by sleeping in cardboard boxes on the
school's football field.
The Peoria Federation of Teachers 780 has contributed $3,000
from the sale of "Teachers Support Habitat" T-shirts.
